Where has the week gone? Or for that matter the month? Life is moving fast. But I'll tell ya that spring and sunshine are taking their time getting here though. To help me wish for some sunshine and fast I've brought out one of the newest Uptown Girls Sunny is Stylish for this week's Bellariffic Friday challenge. She sure is stylish...right down to her scarf and fancy gloves. I LOOOVE her!
I've stamped Sunny onto Bella's Bestest paper and paper pieced her outfit with My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing Tangerine and Lavender papers. The briefcase was colored with copics. The ruffles and buttons were colored with a Sakura Black Glaze pen while the sunglasses were given a shine with Stampin' Up! Crystal Effects. I've only used a portion of the sentiment and cut it with a Nestie Labels 10 die. Cardstock is Bella's Bestest Kraft.
Next week our challenge is another photo inspiration. Does this look like a good time or what? Hope it inspires you to create and share with us.
Have a fabulous weekend! I've got my Sissy coming to town with her family and we'll be heading to the city (yup NYC) for a fun day of exploration and shopping - Woo Hoo...it better be Sunny!
Ciao for now,
Cath

For the Boys...
Happy Bellariffic Friday Folks! Our challenge this week is For the Boys...now you'd think that I'd pick a boy image to color. Well, I decided to make a card for my Hubby - he's my boy! Yeah - he's been so fantastic coming with me to chemo treatments and had helped my with recovery so I thought it might be nice to let him know just how much he means to me.
I inked up Uptown Girl Brett and Brenda get Married and Polaroid Frame. Love how you can use just a portion of the stamp and it changes the feel of it - see it's versitile, you don't have to use it for a Wedding scene! I used a computer generated sentiment on the frame to tell him that that my love is forever!
ck
I stamped both onto Bella's Bestest paper, colored with copics and added shading with Distress ink. The adornment on the top - reminded me of a an ornate picture hanger. I cut it with a Heartfelt Creations Spellbinder die. Design paper is My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing - Lavender. I stitched two pieces together and tied a double faced satin ribbon across. I also accented with Viva Decor paper pen in cream in the corners.

Oozak March Challenge is Spring
I am so ready for Spring so this month's Oozak challenge is perfect! Want to join in on the fun? It's easy - you can use any image, paper or layout that inspires Sring! Then link up your creation to the Oozak challenge blog.
I chose to color a Magnolia image. I've colored her with copics and prismacolor pencils blended with gamsol. Since she looked like she was sitting - I cut her out and placed her in a Nestie circle - as if she was swinging - which definately makes me think of spring. I aslo picked colorful paper with lots of little flowers and accented it with paper flowers I hand cut. The desgin paper is from October Afternoon - called Cakewalk. It recently made it's way into my craft stash!
Machine stitching, Kaiser pearls and a satin ribbon finish this off.
Hope you can find some time to play along with us!

Home Tweet Home
Happy Sunday! Today I have a card to share that was made just because... I rarely get to make those. Actually it does have a purpose but it was made because I needed a card for someone who is leaving our area and making a new home for her family in sunny Florida. She's shared lots of love with me during my journey so I wanted to send her on her way with some good thoughts too!
This is a digital Mo Manning image I've had for a while now that I've never colored. I was sorting through my computer the other day and found that I have a ton more. And this one was perfect for my need. Woo hoo.
I've printed the image onto Bella's Bestest paper and colored with copics. I also added some shading around the edges with Tim Hotlz Distress Inks. Then I matted it with Bella Kraft. I had fun adding little extras like crochet lace, a silk ribbon bow and Bella's baubles.
And now for a little health update...I had great news on Friday. My scans are showing that there isn't any cancer activity at this point. Major happiness there. I still had to have chemo on Friday and have at least one more planned - maybe three - but at this point those will be preventative and not combative. Tears of joy flowed that's for sure! I really can relax a little!
Now everyone have a great week. Thanks for stopping by.

Time to Relax....
Today I share with Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Reilly loves to Relax. I was thrilled when my order arrived earlier this week so I would have some new rubbah to ink. Now mind you I still have the latest release in delivery status so don't be fretting if you haven't received yours yet either.
We had a wonderful sketch to play with this week for our Bellarffic Friday challenge. I pulled out some new design paper that also was delivered this week from my latest Oozak purchase. It's the newest My Mind's Eye line The Sweetest Thing - Bluebell and I love it! Nice blue and golden colors. Yum! I loved it so much I decided to paper piece the chair after stamping the image again on this lovely golden print paper. Now I didn't know how it would look since the pattern was roses to be combined with Lulu's flower bursts in the image. But I love it! I highlighted the flower bursts and seams of the chair and voila! The sentiment is just a piece of the larger sentime that comes with the image.
Next week's challenge is For The Boys! A perfect time to make something for the men in your life!
Hopefully I get some good news from the Dr today and I'll be sitting in my chair relaxing too! No wine though until the chemo is all done so me and my Crystal Light will have to do.
Enjoy your day!

Easter Izzie
Hello folks! Today I have another Easter card to share with you. I've dug out one of my favorite characters, Izzie, to help me. This is Izzie is a Bunny - a Christy Croll image designed for Stamping Bella. I just love her Bunny ears and Easter egg!
I've used all scraps on this card. My pile is growing so I decided to dig in and use some up. And after last week's Banner challenge I couldn't resist using a few more on this card. I had a little help with the MFT die-namic fishtail flags. Some new hemp twine, a button and a Stamping Bella sentiment finish this off.
Or so I thought...If you look close, you might be able to see where my three year old neighbor came and added his own touch to my card. Sawyer saw my colored image on my desk and the pile of pencils sitting next to it. Before I knew it, he had started to color over my coloring. Can you find it? I was able to work most of it out but there is still some left on the right bunny ear. I had spent so much time with the paper piecing and coloring that I wasn't going to trash this. I actually think he added to today's story.
Hope to see you back her for Friday's Bellariffic sketch challenge.

Banners Galore
Breaking news - Breaking news....Stamping Bella has a new release TODAY!!!!! Yay! Head on over to the store or the blog to see our newest characters. And for all orders over $55.00 Emily will be adding a surprise KETTO goodie bag (stamps will be randomly chosen) the value of the goodie bag will be approximately 30.00!!
Now on to this week's challenge - add banners to your creations. There are many ways you could have done this and frankly I love banners anyway you do. So I hope you played along.
I started by coloring an Uptown Girl that's been in my stash but never seen ink. Here's Uptown Girl Bunny and her Daffodil. I thought she could help me with some Easter card collection. Now don't laugh cuz I say collection because I have a tendancy to hoard the cards. I can't decide who to send them to until it's too late so they head to the closet for the next year. Do any of you have that problem?
Ok, you probably know the basics...what did I stamp her on? Yup, Bella's Bestest and colored with copics and shaded with prismacolor pencils. I've added glitter and of course the banners. They were cut using the MFT die-namic. Small twine bows, machine stitching and a zig zag die finish this one. Woo wee.
Next week, we're back to a sketch. Send a photo of your creation to Emily@stampingbella.com by Thursday night or stop on by the Blog and leave a comment. And there's also the "Make it Pretty" challenge on the SCS Forum. Just use keyword BELLAMARONE2013. We've got Bella Bucks galore and they might just come in handy with the latest release. Have you checked out the new Uptown Girls, Duda's and Mo's? Oh my they are all going in my shopping cart.
Have a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!
