Trick or Treat

Hello Everyone! Can't believe how fast the week went. I don't know where you are visiting from but it sure feels like we are heading into winter more than fall in Michigan. It rained much of the day yesterday and can you believe that I didn't touch one card on World Card Making Day? I went shopping instead and bought more Copics at Mary Maxims and then proceeded to incorporate them into today's card. So I was sorta on the same page as making cards!!

So here's today's creation. This is another digital image from The Digital Pencil Too only I was lucky to get this one for free as a follower of Mo's Group on Paper Craft Planet. If you like these images, I encourage you to head on over. There is a wonderful gallery from fellow followers so it gives you an idea how to color them. If that isn't enough, Mo throws freebies in under her discussions from time to time and that's a great way to increase your digital supply. I'm hooked, I'll tell ya that.

Halloween witch is making the rounds with Bronte (a dog) dressed up as a cat. Too cute! I used a bizzilion copic colors but like the way you get shading and dimension. I also added some Smooch - Taffy on the cat ears, Green Apple on the belt of the hat and pockets and Molasses on Witchy's candy caldrun. The moon has a touch of Golden Star Sakura Gel Pen and the pumpkin has Copper Star. The sentiment was stamped in Jet Black StazOn and is from an Impression Obsession Clear stamp set. I brought out my new Martha Stewart Spider Web border punch to tie into the DP. The paper was a bargain from the end of the season last year and I like the subtle design it ads to the background for this image.

I'm trying to get a pot of tomato sauce going - I love colder days when pots can simmer on the stove and fill the house with wonderful aromas. I'll try to get at another card after I finish some chores. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Thanks for stopping by!
Cath
